Built to Lead: Designing Your Success Story

Somewhere along the way, someone told you what success was supposed to look like. A title. A timeline. A path that made sense on paper.
But the women leading this year's Built to Lead didn't get here by following someone else's blueprint. They got here by designing their own.
On September 15th, six of them will sit at your tables and tell you the truth — about the risks they took before they felt ready, the failures that redirected them, and the moments they stopped waiting for permission and started building something real.
You'll rotate through three intimate 20-minute conversations, each one led by a woman whose story might just rewrite the story you've been telling yourself.
This year's speakers:
  • Julie Stubblefield — who started as a legal assistant to pay her bills as a young Army wife, and is now Chief Growth Officer of a multi-state law firm
  • Norell Mitchell Grissett — who left everything familiar, took a job in a field she knew nothing about, and built one of the most respected real estate practices in the Upstate
  • Tina Belge — who serves on city council, runs her own consulting firm, and still shows up for the next generation
  • Shelly Wetherell — who gave up the security of a salary for 100% commission, learned to fail faster, and never looked back
  • Carrie Gerisch — who wasn't even in the business when it started, stepped in when she had to, and helped build it toward a $10 million year
  • Lisa Crawford — who spent 25 years in banking and accounting, then bet on herself and launched her own firm, because impact matters more than title
